IGNOU has several Regional Centres across different states of India. These centres act as a link between the headquarters and study centres. They perform the following functions:

- Support learners in admission, re-registration, and academic counselling
- Conduct regional-level workshops and meetings
3. Study Centres (Local Level)
These are the direct contact points for students. Located in colleges or institutions, study centres offer the following services:
